A super helpful hub of practical advice and information, MyWaste.ie helps you with things like: managing food waste, greener home cleaning, better skip use and managing waste through your sport clubs. There is advice for businesses, too, and access to a circular economy training platform for SMEs, called MODOS.
Moving to a more circular economy and improving recycling rates is not always easy. But now more than ever, people across the country are becoming more interested in making sustainability part of everyday life.

Waste management is only part of the picture and our main goal is moving Ireland toward a circular economy. That means keeping materials in use for as long as possible, reducing waste, and giving nature a chance to regenerate. It also means thinking differently about how we shop, consume, and discard waste. For example, before disposing of something, first consider if it can be repaired and, look out for local repair cafés. And before buying anything new check out community swaps, retail outlets or online marketplaces and you may well find exactly what you need second hand.
