The House of Peroni events are always brimming with style, great food and drink and brilliant music. The fourth instalment takes place at the Royal Hibernian Academy on Ely Place in Dublin 2 from Thursday 22 August until Sunday 1 September.
It is part of a global series events, with pop-ups happening in Barcelona, Paris, Stockholm, Santiago and Johannesburg.
Three Irish creatives had a hand in this year’s Dublin residency. This spring interior designer Roisin Lafferty, chef de partie at Aniar in Galway Killian Crowley and creative director at Algorith were whisked off to Puglia to immerse themselves in the style of Peroni and to bring that inspiration back to create this year’s House of Peroni.
Roisin Lafferty will be tasked with designing the aesthetics of the RHA interior.
“Brimming with sophistication and elegance, Puglia’s aesthetic of refined arches, understated whites, and glistening jewel seascapes, framed the chilled and inviting environment. I am really excited to capture some of its charm and character in this year’s House of Peroni design”, Roisin says. In Italy, Roisin stayed in Masseria Ceravolo, a farm house steeped in history and tradition that was lovingly restored and now is an elegant country house.
Award winning Irish chef, Killian Crowley, will curate the exclusive dining menu at this year’s House of Peroni, which will focus on top Irish produce served in a Pugliese style. As well as this, Killian will also develop three unique gelato flavours that will be served in the House of Peroni Dublin, Barcelona, Paris and Stockholm – preserved lemon, olive oil, and a Peroni gelato.
With responsibility for creating the atmosphere within The House of Peroni, Kev Freeney will design a new immersive audio visual experience in the RHA for the House of Peroni.
