Kelly’s Resort Hotel, Wexford

This hotel in Rosslare is known for its brilliant food and family-friendly atmosphere, and of course that beautiful beach is one of the main reasons to stay. SeaSpa is a big draw for the hotel, with a stunning design and wonderful amenities like the beautiful thermal suite and the massaging pebble walk.

Mulranny Park Hotel, Mayo

The four star GN Mulranny Park Hotel has an idyllic location with Clew Bay on its doorstep. Take in the spectacular scenery of this majestic part of Mayo from the beautiful grounds of the hotel, as well as enjoying all the spa has to offer.

If you want to feel the sand between your toes or stroll along the beach at sunset, you will want a beach right on your doorstep. Here are some gorgeous Irish beachfront hotels, whether you are looking for a romantic getaway or a family-friendly escape.

Portmarnock Hotel, Dublin

Portmarnock Hotel lies on the Velvet Strand, a stunning uninterrupted coastline located just 15 minutes from Dublin airport. The five-mile-long beach is ideal for an early morning run or a nice stroll with the family as the sun sets. Nearby you will find picturesque fishing villages like Howth and Malahide, where you will find the best seafood straight from the harbour.

Slieve Donard Resort & Spa, Down

At the foot of the Mountains of Mourne, on six acres of immaculate private grounds, Slieve Donard Resort & Spa is bordered on one side by the beautiful Newport Beach. This haven on the Co Down coastline also has the Royal County Down Golf Club on its doorstep.

Inchydoney Island Lodge & Spa, Cork

Inchydoney feels a world away and arriving at the hotel to the sound of the crashing waves on the shore below is instantly soothing. The beach is as much a feature of the hotel as anything else, with the spa and restaurant positioned to take full advantage of the views.

Sandhouse Hotel & Marine Spa, Donegal

Overlooking Rossnowlagh Beach and Donegal Bay, this comfortable hotel is a tranquil hideaway with all Donegal has to offer on its doorstep. This four star hotel has a spa and hot tub, and was once a traditional fishing lodge. This is a brilliant spot for swimmers and surfers.
