VOYA has unveiled its new cryo-cooling gel, ideal for applying after exercise or sun exposure
Award-winning Irish business VOYA has introduced its latest innovation: Cryo-Cooling Gel.
Inspired by the needs of fitness lovers and active bodies, the gel combines the power of cooling menthol and nutrient-rich seaweed extracts to soothe tired limbs, replenish moisture and reinvigorate the skin after exertion or heat exposure.
Born on the wild Atlantic coast in County Sligo, the pioneers of seaweed skincare wanted to create something for those of us who lead an active lifestyle.

“The Cryo-Cooling Gel deeply hydrates thanks to our seaweed and aloe-based formula,” says co-founder Mark Walton, “unlike traditional cooling gels which use alcohol to evaporate, giving you a false cooling effect that actually dries out the skin. How it’s made
VOYA was the Overall Winner at Irish Country Magazine’s Irish Made Awards 2024, with its emphasis on using naturally derived ingredients from the Irish coast, a huge strength for the dynamic business. As well as the menthol, key ingredients in this new innovation include seaweed (Fucus Serratus), which is rich in antioxidants and minerals to support skin renewal and hydration, and aloe vera, to calm and soften skin, reducing irritation and redness.
Recovery reimagined
Perfect after intense exercise or sun exposure, Cryo-Cooling Gel absorbs instantly with zero residue. Quick to use post-shower or before heading back out, it’s a staple for dynamic lifestyles and wellbeing routines.
While Cryo-Cooling Gel is not a treatment for the symptoms of menopause or perimenopause, user feedback has shown it can offer localised, temporary relief – especially during night sweats or hot flushes.
The gel also features in VOYA’s new spa treatment, Cryo-Revive Ritual, which combines heat and cold therapies to stimulate circulation, reduce inflammation and leave the body feeling completely revitalised.
