5-6 September: The Secrets of Primrose Square
Pat Moylan brings Claudia Carroll’s bestselling novel, The Secrets of Primrose Square to the stage this September. With Clelia Murphy, Marion O’Dwyer and Leia Murphy leading a stellar cast, Mark Lambert directs this heartfelt tale of love, loss and resilience – premiering at Cork’s Everyman before a Dublin run at the Gaiety.
5 September: Sheen Falls Lodge Exclusive Four-Hands Dinner, Co Kerry

5-7 September: Island Drift, Co Cork
Head to Garinish Island for The Island Drift, for a weekend devoted to music, literature and nature. By day, wander the island’s lush gardens with writers, poets and musicians leading talks, readings and trails. By night, hop on a ferry for magical concerts with Susan O’Neill, Blindboy and Declan O’Rourke under the stars. 6 September: Ahakista Open Water Swim, Co Cork
Looking for an adventurous weekend with your swimmer friends? Cork is your destination. It’s the third open water swim competition around the beautiful Oilean Eoghain, organised by the Ahakista Community Association. 14 September: An Evening with Leo
Ireland made history when Leo Varadkar took office in 2017, but the more you know, the less it is. In a candid conversation with Varadkar, the event at The Mansion House in Dublin launches his memoir, Speaking My Mind, where he reflects on his “mistakes” as well as “what was achieved.” The evening will be followed by a Q&A and a signed hardback copy for all the guests. 17 September: Screening of Rebel Wife, Co Tipperary

18-21 September: Listowel International Storytelling Festival, Kerry
