Since the Irish Made Awards began, we have seen a variety of businesses catering to families, with beautiful products that are perfect for little ones. Here, meet the finalists in the new Kids category of the Irish Made Awards 2022, before you vote.
Fiadh and Finn
Tanya Ryan creates fine art keepsakes in her studio in Kildare. She uses solid wood picture frames made in Ireland, sustainable packaging and her designs are inspired by creatures found in Irish woodlands and hedgeroes. fiadhandfinn.ie

Nadia Cruikshanks is a textile designer and designs and screenprints the fabrics used to create her baby and kids clothing. She uses water-based serigraphic ink, and prints in small batches. faunakids.ie
Little Bear’s Wardrobe

Made on the family farm in Tinahely, Co Wicklow, Meadows creares skincare products suitable for babies’ skin. Claire Williams has developed a Newborn Baby skincare range and gift set made with natural ingredients. meadows.ie
PSW Furnishings
PSW Furnishings create beds and bunkbeds for kids in their workshop in Donegal by their carpenter Paul. In just a year they have developed 15 different designs, that they deliver and install themselves. pswfurnishings.com

Emily Stewart creates Hello Baby announcement sets in Co Wexford. She launched the business in March 2021, and she cuts the patterns for her blankets, knotted hats and headbands by hand. sayhello.ie

Suby founder Katarzyna Nosal collaborates with Irish felt designer based in Dublin called Flock to create decorations and crochet designer based in Mayo to make her handmade collar for kids. suby.ie
The Wonderkind
The Wonderkind create hair clips and badges that teach young girls about inspirational women throughout history, Rosa Parks and Frida Kahlo to Mary Robinson and Vicky Phelan. They are printed and assembled in Ireland. thewonderkind.com
Wonderfully Weathery Books
Elayne Heaney is the creator and writer of Wonderfully Weathery Books, children’s stories about the weather and seasons. She works with illustrator Paula Reel, who is based in Monaghan to bring the stories to life, and the books are printed in Ireland. wonderfullyweatherybooks.com
Wonky Woolins
Chloe Gardiner makes her unique heirloom soft toys by hand in Galway city, with handembroidered eyes and crochet bodies. She wanted to create toys that are made in Ireland and can be passed down to the next generation. thewonkywoolins.com
Zizo
Using sustainably made fabrics, Zizo clothing is handmade in a solar powered facility on Waterford’s Copper Coast. They then use vegetable inks and GOTS approved yarn to finish the product. zizo.ie
