Wellness is an important category in the Irish Made Awards – meet the 2022 winners and learn how to enter now

The Irish Made Awards celebrate businesses producing and making products in Ireland. From home and textiles, to fashion and accessories, the awards seek to find the next big thing. In 2022, we added a new category; wellness. In the last few years, wellness has become more important than ever, with lots of Irish people prioritising self care and wellbeing and we’re looking for exciting businesses thriving in this sector. We wanted to acknowledge these businesses with their own distinct category, as they have amassed such a strong following amongst Irish consumers.

The wellness category is for all products that contribute to wellness in people’s lives, such as supplements, personal hygiene products, oils and products which complement people’s wellbeing such as journals and affirmation cards.

We’re delighted to welcome The Burren Perfumery as the sponsor of this category for the Irish Made Awards 2023. The Burren Perfumery is a family company that makes perfumes and cosmetics using natural and organic ingredients, taking inspiration from the landscape around them. Everything is made by hand, on site, in the Burren.

Speaking about their involvement in the awards, company director Sadie Chowen said: “Manufacturing by hand is at the core of The Burren Perfumery’s ethos and we are proud to sponsor the Irish Made Awards, which highlight and support smaller, creative, Irish brands.”

Is your Irish business a wellness brand? Be sure to enter the Irish Made Awards now before the deadline on 30 May 2023. For details on how to enter, see the Awards page, and FAQs here.

Here is the winner and runner up of the Wellness Category for the Irish Made Awards 2022:
