Irish sports stars will lead virtual PE classes for kids to try at home

When children can’t see their friends or play their favourite team sports, it can be hard to ensure that they get enough physical activity during lockdown.

Irish fitness and sports supplier McSport is sharing PE videos with sports stars such as boxer Kellie Harrington, footballer Dean Rock and five time All-Ireland winner Aidan O’Mahony.

Starting Wednesday, 3 February, a different coach will lead a fitness class each week, starting with double world medallist Kellie Harrington. Each video is 20-30 minutes long and there is no equipment needed.

Videos will be released on Facebook and YouTube weekly until Wednesday, March 3, and shared on mcsport.ie and other social media channels.
