The Paris 2024 Paralympic Games will be held from 28 August to 8 September with around 4400 athletes competing in 22 sports
Olympic fever swept over the globe this summer, especially on our shores, as Team Ireland brought home a record number of medals and showed that we will be serious medal contenders in plenty of other events for 2028.
And now, we’re turning our sights to the Paralympic Games. These will also take place in the City of Light for twelve days this autumn, showcasing the masterful skill, talent and agility of competitors with a range of disabilities in multisport events.
Here are the 35 athletes representing Ireland in the Paralympic Games and the events they will be competing in:

Here’s how to watch the Paralympic Games in Ireland:
Broadcasting live across the 12 days of sporting events, our national broadcaster is set to provide its largest ever range of television coverage of the Paralympics, with 104 hours on RTÉ2.
RTÉ Player will also be offering over 500 hours of live action available to watch over four digital channels, ensuring Irish audiences can experience all the action and success of Team Ireland as it happens. There will be live commentary from John Kenny and former Paralympian, James Scully.
