On Thursday, 12th August, JYSK (pronounced yoosk) will open its newest location in Ashbourne. The international retail chain sells ‘everything for the home’, at affordable prices. JYSK specialises in high-quality and on-trend home products, from the bathroom to the garden shed. With a focus on satisfying sleep, the store has a reputation for high-quality sleeping products. Whether shopping for mattresses or bases, all are inspired by Scandinavian sleeping culture. Don’t just take our word for it, try JYSK’s Sleep Test or head to your closest store.

Speaking about the upcoming opening, store manager Elina is excited to “bring a new shopping experience to Irish customers” and “be part of a new company coming to Ashbourne that already has such a large network of stores throughout Europe.”

The first store opened in Denmark in 1979, and today JYSK has more than 3,000 stores and 26,500 employees in 51 countries. JYSK opens in Ashbourne Retail Park, just off of the M2. With retail back and restrictions easing further, the store is ready to open its doors to new and returning customers alike.
