Whether they’re made to order to fit perfectly into your home or they’re a small touch of something new, these high quality collections are a good place to start if you’re looking for something special for a home refresh or renovation. From baby cribs to incredible hand-crafted furniture art and accessories, check out these inspiring previous winners and runners up in the Irish Made Awards Furniture Category.

Meet the past Drink winners and runners-up of the Irish Made Awards:

Cooltree Design: In the protected bogs of Kildare, our 2020 Irish Made Awards winner Cooltree Designs creates their furniture in their studio and workshop. If you’re looking for high-end furniture and gifts for the modern home these are a must have. Established in 2018 by woodworker and furniture designer Warren Hynes, each piece is handcrafted, and the business ensures all products are responsibly and ethically sourced. Cooltree Design, Spun Desk Clock, €60-65)

Modet:  Our 2020 Irish Made Awards runner-up was Modet, a small family business based in Kinsale, Co Cork. They design contemporary furniture for home and corporate clients. Founded in 2017 by Paul O’Brien, they strive to make quality furniture for people to live with, use and enjoy day after day. How stunning would this modern classic solid oak cabinet look in any home.

Joop Duyn: Our other 2020 Irish Made Awards runner up is Joop Duyn. For furniture and its restoration, Joop Duyn is one of the best. They understand the sentimental value of furniture and offer an exclusive range of services. From one off bespoke pieces to interior and architectural design treat your home to something special. Check out the Caha Motus chair that contains 15 individual pieces of hand shaped and machined timber.

Éalu: Our 2019 Irish Made Award winner was Éalu. Their furniture design and manufacture by Conor Cremins is contemporary and bespoke. Specialising in the design of furniture using solid wood, Conor creates unique and stylish pieces which fall on the luxurious side of everyday needs. Make your space look like no other with this stacking stool with a twist called An Diallait.

Bunny & Clyde: Our 2018 Irish Made Award winner and 2019 runner-up was Bunny & Clyde. This Irish business creates timeless design-led products for family homes. They produce modern nursery and children’s furniture and believe innovative design and sustainability go hand in hand. This dreamy nursing chair inspired by geometric shapes is one to look out for.

Hug Organic (Bababou) : Our 2017 Irish Made Award winner was Bababou, now trading as Hug Organic. Their design aesthetic is simple and clean with functionality and sustainability at the heart. Their cotton is sourced with the Oeko-Tex certification, and our swaddle blankets are made from GOTs organic cotton. Check out their award-winning organic bedside crib below.
