From bigger bags to smaller scarves, here are the accessories you should try out in 2023

Accessories are the perfect way to add those finishing touches to an outfit and really make it your own. However, with such a huge choice, finding the ones that best suit you can be difficult. Below we have five accessory trends that we think you should try out this year, to explore your style and nail those outfits.

3D flowers

3D flowers are a sure way to make a statement. While they may not be for everyone, they are predicted to return, whether that be on your clothes or shoes. In terms of accessories, this 3D flower choker necklace from ASOS is great for dressing up any outfit for special occasions.

Skinny scarves

As we move towards spring, there is less of a need for large, chunky scarves. Slimmer scarves began trending last year and are here to stay for 2023. This one from Ebay is stylish and affordable at only £3.46 (around €3.93).

Chunky jewellery

Statement jewellery is in as trends move towards the 70s. Pendant necklaces and earrings are perfect for adding your own flair to your outfits. These mismatch earrings from & Other Stories are great for gold jewellery lovers and affordable at €29.

Oversized bags

It’s time to swap out that mini bag for something more oversized as we welcome more practical pieces into our wardrobe this year. McWilliam Bags are an Irish brand based in Cork that specialise in spacious bags that are perfect for when you’re on the go. McWilliambags.com.

Blue Tote (€60)

Loafers

In terms of footwear, loafers are here to stay. Easy to dress up or down, they have become a style staple that your capsule wardrobe will love. This pair from H&M have a platform sole that adds both height and comfort.
