Boxy Bags

Leaving the micro bag trend behind. Boxy bags are one of the best accessories trend to shop this spring as they offer not just style but practicality too. Structured, modern utility, a ‘fits everything’ bag is the one handbag you’ll reach for everyday.

Victoria Beckham €1496
H&M €34.99
& Other Stories €199

JW Anderson x Guinness

Back for a second collaboration. Irish label JW Anderson has teamed up with Guinness once again to create a seventeen-piece collection “rooted in a rich shared narrative of craft and heritage, drawing inspiration from the traditional Irish pub – a place of communion, storytelling, and unmistakable warmth”. The collection is extra special as it supports Irish manufacturers and fabric suppliers. Ériu shared that their Worsted Spun DK weight yarn was used to create the Shield Harp Unisex jumpers (€950). Prices range from €230 to €1500, available from JW Anderson online, in Brown Thomas and other select stores globally.

Unisex JW Anderson x Guinness linen shirt in clay €590
Unisex JW Anderson x Guinness smooth tempo scarf in cream & black €390

The Colour Blue

Blue is trending this spring in two distinct shades. In one corner, we have bold and vibrant cobalt blue, in the other we have soft powder blue. The colour compliments most skin tones and complexions, whether you choose to go all out with an all-over blue look or play it safe with an accessory or two, you’re still guaranteed to look the part.

Sister Jane €206
4th ARQ €55
Nicki Hoyne, €275

The Suede Jacket

The brown suede jacket is perfect for this time of year. You can lean into a bohemian style or go more structured with a blazer-style and jeans. Whatever way you want to wear it this earthy tone is beautiful styled with pale or while denim, pastels or pops of bright orange to add lightness to your look.

River Island €68
Fat Face €230
F&F at Tesco €70

Coleen Rooney X Primark

The Coleen Rooney X Primark collection went on sale across Irish stores today, with super wearable pieces ranging from €9 to €35. Last week, we were at the official launch in London, where we got a sneak peek at what’s on offer from Coleen’s edit, which she describes as “elevated everyday essentials”. Think clean silhouettes, calm colour palettes and pieces you can mix and match for whatever the day might have in store – whether it’s school runs or coffee dates. Top picks include this trench coat (€36, below) predicted to be a quick sell-out; one of Coleen’s favourite pieces, the effortlessly cool ‘White Patch Pocket Jacket’, (€28); and incredibly flattering barrel-shaped jeans in Mid Blue (€20). Coleen paired these with the ‘Poplin Shirt’ in light blue for the launch, creating a simple, chic Springtime look that you could pair with either trainers or slingback heels.
