As part of the EU-funded Everything Starts with Milk Campaign, the National Dairy Council is offering four lucky schools or clubs an incredible prize. Some of Ireland’s top athletes are involved, promoting sport and nutrition. The winning groups will be able to train with GAA stars and an Olympic boxer. It’s a once-in-a-lifetime chance for any future Olympian or All Star.

Olympic gold medalist, Kellie Harrington is “delighted” to be involved as this year’s ambassador of the campaign. The training day with Kellie will take place on Friday 8th October at the Sport Ireland Campus, Blanchardstown in Dublin.

For GAA fans, entrants have the chance to train with three incredible Irish players. All Stars camogie nominee, Grace Walsh plays for Kilkenny as well as working full time as a nurse. Limerick Hurler Cian Lynch, the recent All Ireland man of the match. And Dublin County footballer Con O’Callaghan. The training days with the three GAA Players will take place at three different venues in October with one player at each venue.

The competition is open to both male and female athletes aged 12 to 18 years from schools and clubs across Ireland. All entrants have to do is write 100 words about why their school or club deserves to win. Entrants should make it clear which athlete they’d like to train with. As a bonus, they can also send a short, creative video.

The council will choose the best entries for the Kellie Harrington day on 8th October and for the additional GAA training days throughout October. The GAA venues will be announced at a later date.

All entries should be sent to milk@ndc.ie by 5 pm on Friday 1st October 2021.  For terms and conditions and details on how to enter, visit www.ndc.ie/milk2021
