We’re obviously hoping for plentiful sunshine when we explore Ireland this summer, but it’s still vital to prepare for some inevitable showers

M&Co

This rainy month of May has been a reminder that Ireland can be plagued by dreary showers at any time of year. Make this the year you finally stop being caught unawares by unseasonal downpours. There is no such thing as bad weather, as the saying goes, just bad clothing. Keep an eye out for raincoats with taped seams or a waterproof, rather than water-resistant, finish to keep you as dry as possible. That way, not even rain clouds will stop you from embracing your post-lockdown freedom.
