Struggling to sleep? These products could help you get a more restful sleep

It is very rare that we say that we had a solid eight hours of uninterrupted sleep, especially if you have children. However, if you are tossing and turning in bed every night and are looking for some products to help you sleep a little better, we’ve listed some below that could really help. Although everyone is different and your struggle with sleep might be different to the next person, when it comes to getting some much needed shut-eye, it is good to have some options to try out.

Blackout blinds

Turn day into night instantly with the Bedtime Blind (€35) from JoJo Maman Bébé. The bedtime blind aims to block out light which would hopefully help reduce the disruption to your little ones sleep and we all know that when they sleep, you sleep! The blind features tiny suckers and stretchy sides which allows it to adapt to any window up to 140 x 200 cm in size and it folds up which means you can easily travel with it!

Sleep sprays

Sleep sprays are infused with ingredients that are designed to calm and relax, which serves as a great sleep aid. They usually contain essential oils such as lavender and chamomile which have soothing properties that can help you fall asleep quicker. Spray a spritz of the product on your pillow and relax.

Neom Perfect Night sleep pillow mist (€9.45)

This Works deep sleep pillow spray (€19.50)

Chamomile tea

If you find that you love to have a warm cup of tea before bed, why not switch your regular tea for chamomile tea? Chamomile can help reduce anxiety and stress and in turn this will aid you in sleeping.

Pukka Chamomile Tea (€3.29)

Lavender body lotion

The best way to feel relaxed is to have a warm shower or bath before you go to bed and the products you use can have a real impact on how relaxed you can feel after. Apply a generous layer of the Lush Sleepy body lotion (£15.95) all over your body and allow it to absorb, leaving the skin feeling and smelling amazing. Sleepy body lotion is made with a gentle oatmeal infusion, calming lavender flower and comfortingly sweet tonka absolute and the lavender can make you feel relaxed and calm which is the best way to be before bed if you want to sleep through the night.
