Launching at Bloom, Keogh’s teamed up with another Irish farming family in Co Tipperary, to create the ultimate crisp for foodies.

Internationally award winning Cashel Blue made its name in the 1980s as an authentic Irish cheese. It inspired many top chefs to create recipes and pairings around the Irish blue cheese.  The Cashel Blue crisp is the next part of that story.

These crisps are perfect for a summer picnic, or for kickstarting a dinner party with a glass of red. Keogh’s Cashel Blue Cheese & Caramelised Onion are sure to be a conversation starter.

“Move over cheddar, this is one we’ve been keen to do for a while as it really works – it’s a foodie’s crisp,” Tom Keogh says. “We experimented with honey, but found that hint of sweetness of caramelised onions lent themselves perfectly to blue cheese, delivering a perfect balance.”

Keogh’s Cashel Blue & Caramelised Onion sharing bags are in store now and are priced at €2.69.

The Keogh family have been farming in North Co Dublin for three generations. The family farm is now home to the kettle fryers where the team makes all the delicious Keogh’s crisps. For more visit keoghs.ie.
