Browse antique rings and more at this exciting fair

Timeless, the Irish Antique Dealers’ Fair, is a brilliant chance to check out a wide range of antiques at the RDS from 13-15 September.

Guests can browse the biggest collection of unique rings in the country, as well as stunning pieces for the home.

Rings are a big draw for the fair. Victorian pieces, like Meghan Markle’s engagement ring, are still proving popular, according to antique dealer Matty Weldon of Courtville.

Meghan’s ring is an antique cushion-cut diamond. Where modern stones are cut broadly in the same way, each cushion-cut diamond is totally bespoke and individually crafted for maximum brilliance.

“This is what people want when they are buying an engagement ring – something no-one else has with its own exclusive shape and magical charm.”

A selection of cushion-cut diamond rings from Courtville will be featured at Timeless, the Irish Antique Dealers Fair, at Dublin’s RDS from September 13-15

Coloured gemstones as favoured by celebrities are in great demand too.

Away from the marital bling, other antique jewellery styles that are enjoying a moment include wearable diamond necklaces and drop diamonds.

The fair will also include fine furniture and art, with amazing collections of antiques and contemporary pieces. Interiors fans can seek out stunning Louis XV armchairs and mid century styles. Find antique gilded mirrors, oriental rugs, tapestries and more too.

Admission is €10, and opening hours are 11am-8pm Friday, 13 September, and 11am-6pm on Saturday and Sunday, 14-15 September.
