Recipe: Sweet and spicy beetroot slaw, a burger’s best friend

Introducing Ballymaloe Sweet & Spicy Beetroot Slaw. Made with locally grown Cork beetroot, caramelised onion and a touch of jalapeño, it is a fresh and exciting product that brings a burst of flavour to every bite. The rich, earthy beetroot is perfectly balanced with a sweet and spicy finish, making it a delicious new way to brighten your meals. This scrumptious slaw is already proving to be a star in the kitchen; it is extremely versatile and can be eaten anywhere you would normally enjoy a slaw such as in toasties, tacos, sandwiches, smoked fish, cheeseboards, pâté and even just a slice of cheese on crackers! One of our favourite ways to enjoy this special slaw is in a classic beef burger. With just a spoonful, a simple burger becomes something special.
