Your Best Life: Galway
The first-ever Spring into Your Best Life event in Galway was an outstanding success, bringing together an inspiring community for a day filled with empowerment, connection, and joy.
Held at the stunning Salthill Hotel on 29 March, this extraordinary event created an uplifting space where attendees embraced self-care, confidence, and transformation. From engaging panel discussions to exciting fashion and beauty masterclasses, every moment was designed to inspire and uplift.
Hosted by the dynamic duo Galway girl Maura Derrane and James Patrice, the day was packed with expert insights, laughter, and invaluable advice. The audience was captivated by wisdom from Celia Holman Lee, who shared her secrets to aging with confidence, while Laura Dowling, The Fabulous Pharmacist, fearlessly tackled important topics on women’s health.
Oonagh O’Hagan enlightened attendees on gut health and longevity, while visionary entrepreneur Nancy Costello showcased the success story of Belle Brush. The crowd was also moved by the motivational words of Orla Hopkins, who encouraged everyone to embrace movement and strength.
The event kicked off with a luxurious drinks reception, setting the stage for a day of fun and connection. On Saturday, 5 April, the Killarney Oaks Hotel was transformed into a haven of glamour, empowerment, and joy as Your Best Life returned with an unforgettable sold-out show.
The day was a triumphant celebration of life, style, and strength. Nora Nagle from Beaufort, stole the show as she was crowned Best Dressed – her style turned heads and embodied the spirit of the day — vibrant, confident, and radiant.
But it was 90-year-old Sheila Doona from Killorglin who truly captured hearts, winning Best Vibe of the Day. Attending with her three daughters and granddaughters, Sheila proved that joy has no age limit. Her energy was infectious, and she reminded everyone in the room that living your best life knows no age.
Once again, the event was hosted by Maura Derrane and James Patrice, and featured an almost identical powerhouse lineup of speakers who moved, motivated, and inspired. From the timeless elegance of Celia Holman Lee, celebrating 60 years in fashion, to the no-holds-barred health wisdom of The Fabulous Pharmacist, each voice left a lasting impact.
Guests were treated to a VIP experience from start to finish — a luxe drinks reception, a gourmet lunch, empowering panel talks, and immersive beauty and fashion masterclasses. Pop-up boutiques, exclusive discounts, and high-energy giveaways brought extra sparkle to an already electric atmosphere.
