Midi skirt mood: 6 stylish options to elevate your autumn wardrobe

A midi skirt should be easy to style and comfortable to wear and there’s one out there to suit every style preference

Not too short, not too long, the midi skirt sits perfectly in between. It can be beautifully feminine or made a little cooler worn with trainers. Here are a couple of different ways to wear some of our favourite styles.

& Other Stories: Tie-waist midi skirt – €99

A classic black midi skirt will work so hard in your wardrobe. The A-line of this style is great with boots or a skinny-heeled shoe alike. This shape is great for accentuating the waist and creating a really lovely silhouette for anyone with an hourglass or pear shape.

Zalando: Wool midi skirt – €149.95

A co-ord wool set is the handiest, throw on outfit you could ask for as the temperatures drop. It’s so chic yet comfortable and warm. Slouchy boots and chunky gold earrings would complete this look for daytime or night.

M&S: Leather look midi skirt – €55

Chocolate brown is one colour tone that really screams autumnal style. This faux leather skirt looks way more luxurious than it’s price point, particularly when styled with the matching top. Team it with a chunky cream knit jumper and ballet flats for a more daytime look.

Massimo Dutti: Suede leather midi skirt – €299

Another key style for this season is tan suede. You’ll be finding this fabric on everything from jackets, to boots and bags. A golden cami top and sling back heels would be so elevated for autumn with this midi skirt.

River Island: Sheer lace skirt – €45

This style is definitely a little more out there with the sheer lace. However, styled here with an oversized t-shirt and blazer and also with some cool trainers, is the perfect mix of cool girl meets fashion girl.

H&M: Rhinestone embellished midi skirt – €39.99

This midi is a little more glam than most. Khaki is also a great tone for this season and styles so well with browns, beiges and golds for a really warm autumnal glow. Brown leather boots are quite cool with this but equally a great heel for a more glam evening look will work here.
