Make your gifts extra special this year with these special in-store experiences at Kilkenny

This festive season, Kilkenny is running an array of in-store events in their flagship store on Nassau St and in Swords to help you get ready for the big day. Kicking off this weekend, the Christmas Means More at Kilkenny series will help you find the perfect personalised gift for your loved one.

November 16-17 – Chop to it!

Visit Kilkenny’s flagship store on Nassau Street for a Caulfield Country Board personalisation event on Saturday and Sunday from 11am – 4pm. Complimentary engraving will be offered for each chopping board purchased to give your gift more meaning. Created and designed in Meath, Caulfield Country Boards are made from beautiful, sustainably sourced hardwood.

November 23 – Baubles of art

On Saturday, November 23 from 12pm – 4pm in Nassau Street, a selection of Kilkenny’s top Irish artists including Belinda Northcote, Jim Skully, Jando, Vera Gaffney, Simone Walsh, Rebeka Kahn, Fab Cow and Black Hen will be hand to meet customers and discuss their art in detail. They will also add personalised messages and signatures to each piece purchased on the day. In addition to this once-off experience, Kilkenny Nassau Street will offer free bauble personalisation on each one purchased.

At the Swords store, Benoit from The Nature of Things will be present from 12pm – 3pm to talk about the benefits and uses for essential oils.  

November 29 – December 1 – Go Green

For Black Friday, Kilkenny is encouraging customers to go green and purchase Irish brands in its Green Friday campaign. Award-winning printmakers, Jando will be live screen printing in the Nassau Street store on Saturday and inviting customers to take part. Engraver, John Coughlin will be adding personalised touches to crystal and snow globes. There will be a free gift with every purchase of Pestle & Mortar in the Swords store from 12pm – 4pm on Saturday from 12pm – 5pm.

December 7-8 – Capture the Christmas spirit

A snow globe is a childhood treasure that can be passed down for generations. Throughout the weekend, Kilkenny will have free personalisation on all snow globes purchased in the Nassau Street store from 10-4. Watch as children look in wonder at the falling sparkles and get excited when they see their name engraved upon it. On Saturday, Max Benjamin will be personalising its premium, handmade candles including the festive Clove & Cinnamon that will have your home smelling Christmas ready.

December 14 – 15 – Christmas is in the air

The world’s oldest candle company, Rathbournes will be personalising its luxurious, hand-poured candles throughout this weekend in the Nassau Street store. Made in Dublin with the finest quality wax and infused with fragrant natural essential oils, Rathbournes make the perfect Christmas gift or a treat for yourself. On Saturday, Red Rufus will personalise its gorgeous Sock Animals with names, initials, dates, shapes and more. Watch in wonder as children light up with delight when they see their name on these Irish ethically made soft toys.
