WIN A family trip to Bilbao, Spain with Brittany Ferries

This competition is now closed, best of luck to all who entered

Are you craving adventure? To get away from it all and escape to the sunshine? Well, Brittany Ferries is offering one lucky reader a return trip on its new cruise-ferry, Salamanca, to Bilbao in Northern Spain.

Brittany Ferries, which is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year, recently launched the new service from Rosslare, and you can read all about our voyage and exploration of The Basque Country in the new edition of Irish Country Magazine.

A sister ship to Galicia, launched in 2020, Salamanca is the company’s greenest ship yet. Its whole design is built around efficiency and lowering emissions, operating as the first LNG-powered ferry to connect Ireland with mainland Europe. Step on board and find yourself transported to Spain before you even set sail.

Inspired by the charms of the beautiful city that it is named after, Salamanca is a feast for the senses. With delicious Spanish food on the menu, a decor that reflects the landscape, and artworks by homegrown artists, you’ll feel like you’ve already arrived at your destination.

Find spacious public areas, shopping, plenty of deck space, and well-appointed cabin accommodation. To indulge you on your journey, Salamanca’s cabins have the biggest bunks within the fleet, topped with comfortable mattress – not to mention a TV with free Video On Demand service. Bilbao is a charming cosmopolitan city, famed for its Avant Garde architecture and shimmering Guggenheim Museum, as well as the rolling hills of La Rioja’s vineyards.

Sailings from Rosslare depart on Wednesday mornings and Friday evenings, and all sailings will enjoy at least one night on board.

To win a return journey in the best available cabin, plus access to exclusive C-Club premium lounge both ways, fill out the following form by June 6:
