Take a peek inside the million dollar homes of Hollywood stars to inspire your next interiors update
Are you a little addicted to scrolling through Daft.ie, eyeing up stylish homes you’ll never buy? If you’re hooked on property porn, here’s a sneak peek at some homes that hit the market in 2019, formerly owned by A-list stars in the US. Read on if you want to know where Meghan Markle lived long before her move into Frogmore Cottage, Kelly Clarkson’s mansion and Rob Lowe’s stunning marble-bedecked home.
Kelly Clarkson’s Tennessee mansion
Clarkson’s moody mansion on a lake is full of dramatic details and inviting textures. We love the modern take on a four poster and the sled-inspired seating at the foot of the bed. Interesting chandeliers, soothing grey tones and plush fabrics are used throughout the home. See more here.

Rob Lowe’s luxe Californian estate
Rob Lowe owns a stunning estate in Montecito, California, which is a light-filled space with large open formal rooms and an elegant kitchen, dining room and bar.
We love the window seat and cosy fireplace in the master bedroom. Having two sinks in the kitchen is a lifesaver when prepping a large feast for a crowd, as is the large range hob. The masculine dark marble sink in the bathroom is a stunning, as is the home bar, which feels like a small hotel residents’ bar.
See more of this epic property, with a full outdoor living room with wood burning fireplace and a swimming pool, here.

Meghan Markle’s former love nest
The light-filled former home of Meghan Markle proves that monochrome styling will stand the test of time. We love the on-trend chevron tiling in the bathroom, as well as the gold metal details. Ochre accessories pop throughout the house, which uses striking black metal furniture and detailing in the windows to great effect.
When Meghan split her time between Toronto and LA while filming Suits, this is where she called home when Stateside until 2013. The four bedroom home she shared with then-husband Trevor Engelson went on the market for $1.8 million last year. See more of the home here.

Kristen Davis’ $3 million airy home
Kristin Davis, known as Sex and The City‘s Charlotte, lived in this sleek home for 20 years. Vaulted beamed ceilings, a home theatre and a walk in wardrobe all feature in the home.
This pared-back home has the air of a calming yoga studio, with earthy woods and muted tones throughout, as well as lots of windows to make a feature of the stunning views.

Connie Britton’s Nashville mansion
Star of hit series Nashville, Connie Britton, has been living in one of the city’s best neighbourhoods in an epic mansion. It hit the market at $15 million as is designed for luxury entertaining, with double height ceilings and warming traditional interiors.
Hanging copper pots overhead in the kitchen is a practical and stylish feature, and brickwork makes the expansive space feel cosier. In one of the living rooms, medieval-inspired lighting and stuffed animals give the space a regal feel.

Scott Disick’s flipped house, worth almost $7 million
E! star Scott Disick’s contemporary architecture and styling of this LA home was for his new TV show Flip It Like Disick. We love the restfully minimal bedroom, the dramatic crittall-style windows and shower and the double features in the bathroom. See more here.
