Meet the winners of the 2026 Irish Made Awards

Our tenth annual celebration of the best local makers, creatives, and producers who design and manufacture products on the island of Ireland.

On Wednesday, 30 September, the best of Irish fashion, beauty, craft and design gathered to celebrate homegrown products and businesses at the Irish Made Awards 2026, proudly supported by Circle Club.

While a drinks reception was underway, guests mingled and took the opportunity to have their photographs taken.

The effervescent Muireann O’Connell hosted the awards for the third time, wearing a show-stopping 80s inspired dress from MNÁ.

Guests also received gifts from Revive Active, Blarney Woolen Mills, Salsa Jeans, Burren Perfumery Press, Fleetwood Paints, Foxford, Beo Wellness, Sasta Skin, Tipperary Boutique, Lily O’Briens, Nonicure, Solas Skin and Boatyard Distillery. Each attendee also walked away with an exclusive illustration from the talented Sarah Gray who depicted ten years of the Irish Made Awards. Spot prizes from Circle Club, Village Vets The July Dublin and Bellinter House Hotel & Spa were announced on the night too.

Our delicious meal at Johnstown Estate was made with locally sourced ingredients, and guests were entertained by a performance from Tolü Makay as she sang her own music plus a special cover of Sinéad O’Connor’s Mandinka.

Thank you to all of our incredible category sponsors: Revive Active, My Waste, DCCI (Design and Crafts Council Ireland), Blarney Woolen Mills, Killowen Farm, Salsa Jeans, Burren Perfumery Press, Appleby Jewellers, Fleetwood Paints, Foxford, Village Vets, Beo Wellness and Kildare Village.

And a sincere thank you to Circle Club, whom this year’s awards were proudly supported by. Our Overall Winner won not only a robust advertising package with Irish Country Magazine, but an annual Producers Circle membership for Circle Club, Dublin’s only private members theatre club which is nestled within the iconic Bord Gáis Energy Theatre.

Without further ado, our winners are:

Overall winner and Gift winner sponsored by Foxford: Nicholas Mosse

In business 50 years, Nicholas Mosse Pottery is one of Ireland’s most recognisable brands – and a very worthy Gift and Overall Winner at this year’s awards. Based in a converted mill outside Kilkenny, the company is run by Nicholas and his wife Susan, the artist and creative force behind each original and distinctive pattern. A true labour of love, each piece is made by hand and undergoes a 20-step process before it is ready for sale. Inspired by the beautiful Irish countryside that surrounds the family home in Bennettsbridge, the business is driven by a commitment to quality, tradition and sustainability.

Accessories winner sponsored by Blarney Woolen Mills: Caithriona King Designs

Caithriona King, designer and milliner

From a small studio in Co Galway, Caithriona King creates bespoke hats and headpieces inspired by individuality, confidence and the natural beauty of the Irish landscape. Over the past 20 years, she’s turned a creative dream into a thriving business that now boasts customers both at home and abroad.

Drink winner: Dingle Distillery

Nestled on the edge of the Wild Atlantic Way, Dingle Distillery is committed to crafting spirits that reflect the character and community that make its home in Co Kerry so special. All spirits have been distilled, matured and bottled in Dingle, Co Kerry. Originally founded in 2012 by three friends and craft beer pioneers – including the late Oliver Hughes – their mission was to bring whiskey back to small-batch distilling and hand-crafted maturation. Since then, they have received widespread recognition for their Single Malt and Single Pot Still Irish Whiskeys and Dingle Vodka, and they even won ‘World’s Best Gin’.

Fashion winner sponsored by Salsa Jeans: Urban Aran

Founded by Christine Murphy, Urban Aran Knitwear was born to stand out. Made from 100% merino wool, each piece is handloomed or knitted by a small family-run production team, using only natural fibres. The only company in Ireland to use the techniques of jacquard and bird’s eye stitch, this means that garments are reversible so can be worn and reworn for years to come.

Food winner sponsored by Killowen Farm: Hazel Mountain Chocolate

Our Food winner, Hazel Mountain Chocolate, specialises in sweet treats and counts the likes of Nigella Lawson amongst their fans. Based in Co Clare, the family-run team uses locally sourced, natural ingredients – including foraged botanicals and Irish seaweed – to create products that are themselves a celebration of Irish craftsmanship, sustainability, culture. Each step, from roasting raw beans to final packaging, takes place at their bean-to-bar chocolate factory. Today, the business attracts more than 200,000 visitors annually from around the world, making it a significant contributor to tourism and the promotion of Irish food excellence at home and abroad.

Home winner sponsored by Fleetwood Paints: Carolyn Walsh Art

Originally from Co Kerry but now based in Dublin, Carolyn Walsh is inspired by the beauty and character of the places that hold a special meaning in our lives. Using a combination of mediums to achieve a layered effect, she creates bold, colourful pieces that reimagine famous landmarks, beloved pubs and romantic wedding venues. Created to mark important moments – a home place, a treasured family memory or a favourite local spot – the result is a unique piece of artwork that brings joy, warmth and a sense of home to a space.

Kids winner: The Little Siopa

In a world increasingly shaped by fast fashion, The Little Siopa is a meaningful alternative.  Stocking all manner of Irish wares, they have a particularly beautiful selection of hand-knit children’s items. Standouts include merino stocaí, handmade to order from the softest wool, and buataisí (BOO-TA-SHE) with sustainable cork leather soles.

Local Retailer winner sponsored by DCCI: This is Knit

A women-led, family-run business in the heart of Dublin City, This is Knit has built a loyal community of customers since they ran their first market stall back in 2006. Two decades later, their home in Powerscourt Centre has become a destination in and of itself, with an impressive stock of quality, natural fibre yarns of wool, silk, cotton, cashmere and more. Proud supporters of Irish suppliers, you’ll find a wealth of products from independent makers and local mills lining their shelves.

Pets winner sponsored by Village Vets: The Sheepish Dog

Devoted to designing and crafting Irish-made pet products shaped by the rural lifestyle of Co Mayo, The Sheepish Dog loves sheep, wool and most of all, dogs (sheepish or not). Their dog beds are tailored by their own highly skilled sewing team and are filled with pure wool shorn from sheep that graze in the pastures, bogs and rocky hillsides of west of Ireland.

Wellness winner sponsored by Revive Active: Inish Living

Inish Living is a B Corp certified company that focuses on nurturing wellness through three key areas – exercise, play and sleep. Products are sustainably made with natural materials and are designed to provide maximum function, purpose and thought for your overall health. Founded by Christina Foley, a chartered physiotherapist, their approach is a holistic one that covers everything from bedding to luxury towels and yoga mats.

Beauty winner sponsored by Burren Perfumery Press: Holos Skincare

Formulated and manufactured in Co Wexford, Holos Skincare’s products blend pure plant ingredients that nourish and soothe with scientifically proven actives to transform and refine. All products are also PETA-approved, making them vegan and cruelty-free too. Founded by Niamh Hogan, a holistic therapist, her years of hands-on work with clients inspired a different vision for skincare – one rooted in care, education, prevention and long-term skin health. As a firm believer that beauty should never require compromise, her promise is simple – ethics and results.

Sustainable winner sponsored by MyWaste: Janni Bars

This brand started with handmade shampoo bars for horses, made in founder Janni Sjöstrand’s kitchen, before branching out into eco-friendly solid haircare and body care. Handcrafted in small batches in Co Longford, their goal is simple: by replacing traditional bottled products with concentrated solid bars, they are significantly reducing plastic waste and shipping weight, making them good for your hair and the planet too. All products are formulated with plant-based and natural ingredients – many of them biodegradable and carefully selected reduced environmental impact in mind.

Jewellery winner sponsored by Appleby Jewellers: The Messy Brunette

In a studio in the Tipperary countryside, Maura Bourke creates statement designs on hand-painted wood and acrylic jewellery. Blending modern techniques with traditional craftsmanship, each colourful piece is full of personality. Initially venturing into embroidery, the evolution from thread to paint was a natural one, fuelled by a desire to make unique creations that do one powerful thing: make people feel good. FSC-certified wood, eco resin and water-based finishes are used wherever possible and tree planting is integrated into every single order too. At its heart, The Messy Brunette is about wearable art with personality.

Rising Star winner sponsored by Kildare Village: Maya Grisham

A brand-new category this year, Kimberly Tinotenda Mushayabasa is the very deserving recipient of the Rising Star award. Her brand, Maya Grisham, specialises in handcrafted, crystal-embellished handbags and bespoke novelty pieces that merge artistry, craftsmanship and Irish culture into one neat little package. This fast-growing brand started back in November 2023. Each piece is made by hand in Co Meath, focusing on small batches or made-to-order runs to reduce overproduction and unnecessary waste. A firm favourite with the likes of CMAT, it has come to be known for iconic pieces such as the sparkly Guinness pint and the Kerrygold clutch bag.

Lifetime Achievement Award sponsored by Appleby Jewellers: Jerpoint Glass

Located within the charming rural village of Stoneyford in Co Kilkenny, the story of this family-run glassblowing studio began more than four decades ago. Established by Keith and Kathleen Leadbetter in 1979, Jerpoint Glass started from humble beginnings in a country farmhouse; 40 years later, its unique coloured glass palette is known across the globe. Inspired by family, friends, music and integrity for the craft, the brand stays true to its roots and continues glass making with the spirit of Ireland at its heart.
