5 ‘Twixmas’ breaks to cosy Irish hotels to fill those in-between days

Whether it is a country-side escape or a city break you’re in search of this Twixmas, these fabulous locations have some great offers.

If you’re not familiar with Twixmas, it is the period of time between Christmas and New Year’s when the days seem to merge into one. Between the 27 and 30 December, it is too easy to lose track of time and melt further and further in the dent in your couch. If getting out and about is your priority this Twixmas, you’re in luck. Below are three fabulous hotels across the country that have some great offers, meaning that you can still relax over the Christmas break while also making the most of the time off.

Avalon House Hotel

Avalon House Hotel is a four-star 19th century manor house in Castlecomer, County Kilkenny. They are offering one and two-night Twixmas break offers from 27 to 30 December from €70 per person sharing. They are also offering a New Year’s Eve stay from €150 per person sharing.
