From shopping to the sea, there are plenty of new things opening this summer. Stretch, eat, explore, and drink your way through these new attractions.
Scrumdiddly’s at Penneys
It’s the collab of the century! Scrumdiddly’s Ice Cream pop-up parlour arrives at selected Penneys stores this summer. Penneys will host a Scrumdiddly’s ice cream pop-up parlour in a number of its Irish stores from July 12th until the end of September. They have even created a delicious signature special ‘The Penneylicious’.
The first Scrumdiddly’s ice cream pop-up, located in the flagship Mary Street store, is ready and waiting for customers to treat themselves to a famous Scrumdiddly’s sweet treat after their shopping trip. The pop-up parlours will also arrive at Penneys Swords and Killarney later this month.

CREATE at Brown Thomas, Dublin
As if we needed another reason for a BT visit! Last week, Brown Thomas launched CREATE: its annual celebration of Irish Design. The theme of this year is Push for Progress, highlighting Brown Thomas’ commitment in pushing for the progression of sustainable Irish design and craftsmanship. Spearheaded by Fashion Buying Director Shelly Corkery, the installation will showcase the extraordinary work of 32 talented designers with 20 new CREATE designers across ready-to-wear, shoes, accessories, millinery, jewellery, homeware, art and sculpture.

Pinko at Kildare Village, Kildare
Pinko knew we couldn’t make it to Italy just yet, so they brought Italy to us! It is the latest brand to open a store at Kildare Village. This is the first and only standalone store in Ireland, and we can’t wait to give it a visit. The brand is known for its contemporary, stylish designs in a wide range of essentials, from jewellery to shoes.
To celebrate their opening, Pinko is offering a gorgeous silk scarf for every €150 spent, while stocks last!

Doolin Ferry Seafari, Doolin
Hit the high sea this summer with an incredible seafari right on our doorstep. The Cliffs of Moher Seafari is a private charter high-speed rib to both the Cliffs of Moher and the Aran Islands. It is the first and only boat of this size in Doolin this summer and is ideal for any adventure-seekers.
The Seafari experience will take passengers on a thrilling experience underneath the distinguished Cliffs of Moher to witness all they have to offer. From sea-life to sea caves, and the sheer 700ft landscape above, sights include the spot where Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince was filmed!

Deep Sea Dundrum, Dublin
If you fancy getting more than just a bargain and a burger from your trip to Dundrum you’re in luck. The shopping centre has recently launched Deep Sea Dundrum, a family-friendly outdoor activation. The project aims to educate on ways in which we can help preserve the environment and protect all species.
People visiting Dundrum in July can join Captain Bear and his crew on their Eco-Adventure around the Centre. The outdoor sustainable trail has characters and sea creature structures at each stop.
On July 31st and August 14th between 12pm and 3pm, families can join fun and engaging talks on marine life, the deep seas and sustainability. Plus, you can get up close and personal with Irish bred sea creatures such as Sea Horses, Clownfish, Starfish and Hermit Crabs.

Everything’s Rosé at WILDE at The Westbury, Dublin
Have you been to the sunny terrace just off Grafton Street? WILDE has launched the aptly-named Everything’s Rosé menu to make South Dublin feel like the South of France. From now until September, guests can avail of a gorgeously curated menu of some of the finest rosé wines.
WILDE’s exclusive Flight of the Rosé tasting experience, €30, includes a 75ml pour from each of the three rosés from the collection: Gérard Bertrand Gris Blanc Rosé, with its crystalline colour and luscious fruit (normally priced at €10.50 per glass, €42 per bottle), Hampton Water Rosé, created by the Bon Jovi family and exclusive to WILDE (€18 per glass, €70 per bottle), and the certified organic Château La Sauvageonne La Villa Rosé from Gérard Bertrand, a two-time winner of the Best Rosé in the World award by The Drinks Business (€32 per glass, €125 per bottle).
You will be guided through each pour in this unique experience, offering a taste of Provence in the heart of Dublin. Each wine has been carefully selected and curated by The Doyle Collection’s Group Sommelier, Philip Dunne. The new menu for summer 2021 also features a selection of sparkling rosé wines and champagne.

Irish Museum of Time, Waterford
Make time for time this summer, and visit this unique new museum in the heart of the Viking Triangle in Waterford. The Irish Museum of Time is the only horological museum in the country, boasting the finest collection of Irish clocks. Visitors to the museum can see pieces from America, Germany, Russia, Japan and Australia, and learn about 5,000 years of time history!

Summer Yoga Sessions at Mount Congreve Gardens
Move over YouTube tutorials! You can get your outdoor yoga fix throughout the summer at Mount Congreve Gardens in Waterford. Visitors are invited to join the expert yoga instructors on the lawns of the beautiful gardens. Breathe in the tranquillity and enjoy a guided yoga class followed by a meditation class. Afterwards, ticket holders will be able to stay on and enjoy the stunning 70 acres gardens and 16km of walking trails.
Just like the tickets to the gardens, all event visitors must pre-book their tickets online in advance at www.mountcongreve.com.

At the Manor, Palmerstown, Kildare
At The Manor is a celebration of the return of music and culture to outdoor spaces in Ireland. An additional comedy night on August 6th has just been announced. On top of this, they have added dates for Picnic at the Manor that will run this summer on the grounds of the 5 star Palmerstown House Estate. Tickets for all added dates are on sale now via the At The Manor website. There are still tickets remaining for the original lineup.

Midleton Whiskey Pop-Up, Brown Thomas, Dublin
The first Midleton Craft Collection Whiskey store in the world has opened at Brown Thomas in Dublin. Shop a range of incredible whiskeys, or get a bottle engraved! The even store boasts the first Midleton Very Rare Silent Distillery Collection Chapter Two to go on sale in Ireland. But at €40,000, it’s certainly one for a special occasion. You can find the store on level 3. Sláinte!
