Ballynahinch Castle hosts a restorative yoga getaway this November

Stunning Ballynahinch Castle is a destination that is guaranteed to help you unwind, set in the heart of Galway. If you’ve always wanted an excuse to visit this stunning hotel, then this break could be what you’re looking for.

Teaming up with Yoga Mara, run by Galway natives Rachel and Hannah Healy, this November Ballynahinch is offering a yoga escape to relax and rejuvenate the mind and body. This break from Sunday to Wednesday, 17-20 November, will help brighten your winter with lots of exercise, comforting food and great company.

Itinerary: 

Sunday

Check in from 3pm, before a Yin yoga class and Yoga Nidra session in the Lettery Lodge, followed by a welcome cocktail and buffet dinner in the house kitchen. 

Monday

Enjoy a light pre-yoga snack of fruit, smoothies and tea or coffee in the kitchen of Lettery Lodge at 7.30am, before a Vinyasa Flow class. Then enjoy breakfast in the hotel. 

That day, choose an optional extra guided activity, such as a cookery demo and lunch by the team at Ballynahinch, or a guided walk of the estate, or afternoon tea in the Owenmore restaurant. 

Dinner that evening will be in the characterful Fisherman’s Pub at Ballynahinch. 

Tuesday

Start the day as on Monday, with a light breakfast and Vinyasa class. 

That evening, take part in a gentle Yin yoga class and a yoga nidra session to relax the mind, before dinner in the Owenmore restaurant overlooking the river at Ballynahinch. 

Wednesday

Enjoy yoga and breakfast as before, before check-out at midday. 

The Yoga Mara Escape at Ballynahinch Castle runs from Sunday November 17th to Wednesday November 20th and is available from €850 per individual or €655 per person sharing. Book it here.
