Between the Easter long weekend and two weeks off school for the smallies, it’s the perfect time for a spring getaway. These hotels around the country are running packages and deals to make your break a memorable one.

Whether you choose a wildlife park or bowling, a fun family day out is all but guaranteed. Keep an eye out from the chocolate treats in the room upon arrival. Stay for two nights from €635.

To celebrate, the hotels’ Family Concierge team has compiled an exciting schedule of activities from Easter bunny visits, to Easter egg hunts and bunny bowling to Easter crafts. Stay for two nights, indulge in a speciality afternoon tea, dinner, and breakfast as well as a trip to Leahy’s Farm from €209 per night. Rate is based on a family of four.

Spend a night in the luxury five-star InterContinental in Ballsbridge with their indulgent overnight package that includes champagne and chocolate eggs in the room, and breakfast the next morning. And to make Easter even more magical for the children, you will get a family pass to Airfield Estate, an urban farm where kids can experience farm activities, discover the farm’s animals and the gardens. To relax after a day’s activities, head to the hotel’s 14-metre indoor heated pool, spa and gym. Available from €480 per night.

Lough Erne, Enniskillen, Co Fermanagh

This spring, the resort has introduced an exciting range of outdoor activities for every generation, including couples and small groups as well as creating a new Easter version of its popular outdoor fairy trail ‘Enchantment’. Overnight stays start from just £159 (€190 approx.) per room and outdoor activities are available from £5 (€6 approx.) per person for the Easter Trail, £20 (€24 approx.) per person for stand-up paddle boards (1-hour 30 mins), and £25 (€30 approx.) per person for water bikes (45 minutes). Family packages are available, and safety equipment is provided for all activities.
