Artists normally featured at Ireland’s premier art fair at the RDS have a new home online

Irish fair Art Source normally welcomes over 15,000 people to the RDS every year, showcasing some of the country’s most high profile artists.

As the annual event has been postponed due to Covid-19 restrictions, you will now be able to buy pieces from some of the talented artists via the e-commerce site giftedfromireland.com.

  • Fiona Concannon

Artsource hopes to return to the RDS in 2021 to continue their successful fairs, which saw among other highlights the largest collection of Banksy’s ever exhibited in Ireland, and new works from iconic Irish sculptor Patrick O’Reilly. The fair generated an estimated €3.5 million for the 200-plus artists showcased in 2019.

Here are some of the pieces available at giftedfromireland.com:

Guided by the Warmest Light, Martina Furlong (€145)

The Forty Foot photographic print, Living Earth Photography (€35)

Larry, Fiona Concannon (€50)

Beach Hut in Moonlight, Margaret Roberts (€650)

Into the Atlantic, Padraig McCaul (from €40)
