The Peter McVerry Trust is encouraging people to thank someone who has supported and encouraged them 

Is there someone in your life who has really made a difference? 

Whether that is a team leader who gave you confidence or a sports coach who brought out the best in you, Peter McVerry Trust is asking you to recognise #ThePersonWho made an impact on your life.

For the people Peter McVerry Trust supports, the charity’s staff become #ThePersonWho provides support, encouragement, advice and care to help them to leave homelessness behind. Over 10,000 people in Ireland are currently experiencing homelessness, and this campaign is aimed at starting a conversation about the importance of supporting everyone in society.

This lovely campaign is part of the charity’s seventh annual Opening Doors Appeal. Running this week from 7-13 October, the campaign coincides with World Homeless Day on 10 October.
To support, share your own story about #ThePersonWho made an impact on your life. You can also support by donating to the appeal.
