Are you in need of a pep-in-your-step after the exhausting rush of the past few months? Well, we have a relaxing getaway for you and a loved one to relax and unwind in luxury. The Dylan Hotel, just off Baggot Street in Dublin city, has recently undergone a stunning refurbishment of its original bedrooms and suites and to celebrate, we are offering one lucky reader the chance to win an overnight night stay with dinner in the hotel’s The Eddison restaurant, as well as a beautiful Afternoon Tea.
The Dylan, Dublin’s only 5 Star Boutique Hotel, combines timeless elegance with modern sophistication. With a legacy of exceptional service and attention to detail, Dylan Hotel offers guests an unparalleled experience of comfort and luxury. The hotel boasts an impressive blend of historical architecture and contemporary design, providing an exquisite setting for discerning travellers and locals alike. Its recent comprehensive refurbishment also includes all guest corridors, marrying historical elements with classic influences and a contemporary, colour-forward style.
The renovated bedrooms are plush, with a nod to Victorian heritage, vibrant pops of colour, and unique furnishings – Caroline Campbell from design firm Tonik led the project, ensuring sustainability played a role by repurposing existing artwork and furniture, adding new life to quality pieces. Dylan Hotel collaborated with Gem Joinery, based in Co Longford, to craft bespoke walnut joinery for each guest room. The joinery features intricate inlays of natural stone, solid walnut fluting panels, and accents of brass, showcasing impeccable Irish craftsmanship.
Meanwhile, the hotel’s art director Catherine O’Riordan of So Fine Art Editions Gallery curated an all-Irish line-up of artworks and prints by the likes of Colm Toolan, Mary O’Connor and Alice Fitzgerald, and ceramics by Emma O’Hara.
