Planning a break away with friends or a romantic escape with your partner? Choose one of these hotels and enjoy a dip even when the temperature drops

One way to instantly get that holiday feeling is an indulgent soak in a hot tub. Even if the sun doesn’t shine, it’s still so enjoyable to take time out and enjoy the views. Here are some of our favourite hotels that have one, but make sure to book your slot.

Wineport Lodge

Wineport Lodge is known for its warm welcome and its excellent location along the banks of Lough Ree. This hotel has a romantic feel and a fabulous restaurant. Make time during your stay to relax in the hotel’s hot tubs by the lake. The hot tubs need to be booked and are available for 25 minute slots.

Eccles Hotel Cork

Eccles Hotel in Glengarriff recently added a spa to the hotel. The village is full of heritage and history, but this little spot of luxury will make a trip feel indulgent. The hot tubs are available to book, and look out over the bay, which is truly breathtaking.

The Ice House, Mayo

The Ice House in Mayo has a wonderful spa with lovely relaxation rooms, but step outside and enjoy the discreet outdoor relaxation area with a sauna and hot tubs. The cedar hot tubs are located on a patio overlooking the River Moy, and it is truly relaxing to gaze out at the boats while enjoying a soak.

The Lake Hotel Kerry

The four star Lake Hotel in Killarney boasts a magnificent backdrop of lakes, mountains and woodlands. To make the most of it, book a slot in the outdoor hot tub to really embrace the views. The outdoor hot tub is part of The Lake Hotel’s wellness centre and is open daily from 8am to 9pm. Two guests at a time can use the hot tub  at the moment and and are asked just to be mindful of other guests and keeping their time to 20-30 minutes.

Galgorm Resort & Spa

The thermal village within Galgorm Resort & Sa is open and there is also the option to reserve a private hot tub. The Riverside tubs boast a picturesque location along the River Maine, with the Serenity Tubs nestled among the orchard trees of the Thermal Spa Village. These tranquil backdrops are the perfect setting for a relaxing catch up with a loved one. The tubs are still, to encourage guests to embrace the stillness around them. Quiet and peaceful so guests can enjoy the sound of river, connect with the person they’re sharing the tub with or simply relish some quiet time.
