Controversial novel The Woman in The Window starring Amy Adams and Julianne Moore is a must-see psychological thriller

We’re constantly on the hunt for an edge of your seat thriller, and Netflix has just released the trailer for the film adaptation of The Woman in the Window.

The psychological thriller was a bestseller when it was published in 2018, and became even more talked about when strange accusations emerged about the author, AJ Finn, which is a pseudonym for Daniel Mallory.

In the trailer, Amy Adams plays Anna, an agoraphobic psychologist who cannot leave her house. Instead she drinks and watches her neighbours.

Unexpectedly, she befriends her neighbour Jane, only to watch helplessly from her window as Jane is attacked in her home. Things take a drastic turn when Jane shows up claiming to be perfectly fine, except she isn’t the same person Anna met before.

Originally intended for release last year, it is now expected to premiere on Netflix early this year.
