When Clodagh McKenna invited the Irish Country Magazine team to her home Broadspear House to do our June issue cover shoot, we couldn’t have imagined a more picturesque setting.
Broadspear is located in Highclere Park, where Highclere Castle, the set for Downton Abbey is located just a few fields away. The team had a gorgeous day exploring the grounds with Clodagh, ever the fabulous host.
In her interview with editor Klara Heron, Clodagh explained how lucky she and her partner Harry feel to call Broadspear home. “I’ve gotten slightly used to it, but there are times when I’m driving out and it’s right in front of me that I think, ‘oh my God it’s so beautiful’. I feel so lucky and fortunate to live in one of the most beautiful parks in the UK.”
The team included photographer Aaron Hurley, stylist Dee Moran, Nickie Buglewicz for hair and makeup. The video was shot by Róisín Healy and edited by Sarah Gray.
