All the times Bród and Síoda were the best dogs

We are so lucky that the President of Ireland’s dogs are not camera shy. Here are all of their best moments

Like when they couldn’t get closer to Prince Harry if they tried

Bród and Síoda have really made themselves at home at Áras an Uachtaráin.

This week Bród interrupted an International Women’s Day event in search of belly rubs — it’s not unlike Bród to command attention.

Irish Times writer Miriam Lord accurately sums up the pair: “Síoda is quite a refined young lady compared with Bród, who is an attention-seeking male and cannot resist a stage or a camera opportunity. Two big softies, they love all the fuss and notice, but never wander far from Michael D’s side.”

Here are some other moments that Bród and Síoda melted our hearts:

When Kate Middleton gave Bród a much deserved belly rub

… And another belly rub for Bród from the Irish hockey team

They’re always ready for an impromptu photoshoot in Phoenix Park

And even popped by to check in with our team during a photo shoot in the gardens

When Síoda got into the festive spirit
