Kilkenny’s month-long exhibit showcases emerging talent in Irish fashion and is one not to be missed

If you’re a fan or Irish design you won’t want to miss this excellent event. Following the success of its inaugural year in 2018, Scéal: A Story of Irish Design is back in Kilkenny’s flagship store on Nassau Street from September 2nd to 29th in collaboration with Design Ireland.

Kilkenny has been an avid supporter of Irish design for decades, and this annual event celebrates all that is great about that connection by showcasing emerging Irish design talents. From the beginning of September, Kilkenny is hosting an exclusive Irish fashion pop up which features a whole host of talented Irish designers including: print duo Jill & Gill, sustainability-focused Reuben Avenue, knitwear from Pearl Reddington and contemporary designer Sookyoung Song.

Each designer will have their collection displayed in the Nassau Street store, available to buy while stocks last. And we suggest you move fast, as we had a first-hand look at the collections and there are so many beautifully made items to love. If you’re on the hunt for something unique, excellently made and Irish, this is the place to find it.

As well as the emerging designers, Kilkenny is home to many Irish brands in fashion, jewellery, homeware and beauty, so there’s plenty to discover in store. And better still, to thank customers for supporting Irish design, Kilkenny will be offering a €20 voucher with any purchase over €100 for the month of September to spend in store or online.

Have you voted in the Irish Made Awards 2019? Voting closes on 6 September! Have your say and vote for the best Irish businesses across fashion, beauty, home, gift, food drink, and more, today!
