Christmas decorations that give a cosy, festive vibe to your home

There has never been so much choice when it comes to holiday décor but these are some of our favourites

Sarah McKenna’s Porcelain Hanging Decorations, €20 each

Irish-made business Sarah McKenna Ceramics recently launched its brand-new porcelain Christmas decorations collection, inspired by the concept of friendship and toasting to the festivities. These beautiful, handmade hanging decorations, each one based on different cocktail, are a collaboration between Dundalk ceramicist Sarah and expert mixologist Michelle Mac Guinness of Schweppes. Each decoration comes with a recipe card and step-by-step instructions to recreate each drink at home, whether you’re into margaritas, martinis or daquiris.

Very Home: Set of 2 Christmas Robin Decorations – €18.99

Very Ireland

Brighten up your home with these two cute robins decked out for the festive season. Each one wears its own hat and scarf, and they’ll look great standing either side of your mantlepiece, on a shelf or even nestled amongst the branches of your Christmas tree.

Blossom Tree: 3 LED Baubles – €29.99

How beautiful are these LED baubles? They are absolutely ideal for adding an extra touch of sparkle and class to your Christmas tree to leave your room feeling even more magical. They come in a set of three and would make a wonderful addition to any home.

Carraig Donn: Robin Christmas Stocking – €19.95

This gorgeous Christmas stocking is a throwback to a more traditional festive theme with a cosy homemade vibe. The tartan trim atop the holly and robin embellishment is an homage to the holiday season while also creating a beautiful focal point on your mantlepiece.

Irish Design Shop: Dublin Christmas Candles – €15 each

Imagine how amazing your home would smell with these candles softly glowing in the background? This collection is inspired by festive, seasonal scents, evoking the joy and nostalgia of a traditional Irish Christmas. Made in Dublin by Dalkey Aromatics, each candle is hand-poured in 100% natural biodegradable soy wax with a pure cotton wick, essential oils, and premium fragrances.

Greens Cottage Cards: Christmas Collection – €7

Greens Cottage Cards

Technically, if you bought these, they would end up as decorations in another home but we can’t think of anything cuter than seeing these in someone’s hallway or mantlepiece! Featuring funny puns and adorable drawings of barnyard animals, these are a great option if you like to send cards at this time of year.

Meadows & Byrne: Gold Etched LED Tree – €29.95

For a festive yet rustic look, this is a dazzling decorative piece, featuring intricate etched patterns and warm LED lights that create a captivating holiday ambiance. Its golden finish adds a touch of luxury to your decor, making it a standout centrepiece for celebrations and gatherings.
