The five-star hotel in Co Mayo was given the top award at the annual Travel & Leisure World’s Best Awards
Ashford Castle was voted the number one resort hotel in the UK and Ireland by readers of the iconic Travel & Leisure magazine, one of the most acclaimed travel publications in the world with almost five million readers. The five-star hotel in Cong, Co Mayo, which has recently reopened its door to guests, was given the top nod at the annual Travel & Leisure World’s Best Awards.
The luxury castle which was once home to the Guinness family, was deemed number one ahead of many of the UK and Ireland’s most elite resort hotels, and was rated by readers on its facilities, location, service, food, and overall value.
