Any Gardaí or nurses who worked through Storm Emma could win tickets to Copper Face Jacks: The Musical at The Olympia this July

In a gesture of thanks to the hardworking Gardaí and nurses who worked during the blizzards last week, the producers of Copper Face Jacks: The Musical are offering 100 free tickets to an exclusive preview at The Olympia Theatre.

To get tickets to this special event taking place on 9 July, Gardaí or nurses just have to tweet a picture of themselves working during Storm Emma to @CopperMusical using the hashtag #CoppersMusical.

Written by Paul Howard, Copper Face Jacks: The Musical is a comedy that sees a young girl from Kerry Nuala move to Dublin for her dream job in the VHI. She finds herself falling head over her flat shoes for a Dublin lad called Gino who just happens to be the captain of the Dublin footballers. Can love conquer all as these two young sweethearts face massive cultural and linguistic hurdles on their road to happiness/Croker? Only time and a bunch of cloakroom tickets will in this hilarious musical celebrating the nightclub that has seen many romances start and end on the dancefloor and where countless mobile phones have disappeared into the night. Described as “Moulin Rouge with slow sets” this puppet-based musical extravaganza opens in the Olympia Theatre from 5 July.
