Incognito is a secret art sale in aid of The Jack & Jill Foundation, which will see 2,600 postcard-size original pieces of art being sold for €50 on a first-come, first-served basis. Bono, Paul Costelloe, Maser and Abigail O’Brien are among the 1,000 artists involved, and the twist is that the identity of the artist remains a secret until all the pieces have been sold.
Visit www.incognito.ie to view the pieces, ahead of the sale days, which take place in the Solomon Gallery in Dublin from 5-7 April, and the Lavit Gallery in Cork from 17-18 May. Pieces can be previewed in person on 3-4 April in Dublin and 16 May in Cork.
This is a wonderful opportunity to invest in a piece of art by Ireland’s most sought-after artists, as well as emerging creatives from around the world, at a fraction of the actual value while supporting a brilliant cause.
Now in its third year, the art sale has proven to be a huge success, with last year’s sell-out event raising over €95,000 for Jack & Jill. Every €16 raised funds one hour of home nursing care for over 340 children who are under Jack & Jill’s wing today; children with severe neurodevelopmental delay who may never walk or talk or paint a picture themselves.
