We love a destination that has inherent character and beauty, so that guests feel indulged and you can rest easy knowing that your day, and your wedding album, has a beautiful backdrop. Here are some of our favourite wedding venues in Leinster, that offer space for your ceremony, reception and late night festivities:

Johnstown Estate, Co Meath

This Georgian manor is set in a stunning location along the river Blackwater. You and your guests can celebrate in style in the grand ballroom, or choose a pretty garden ceremony followed by a festival-themed party in the gardens. When newlyweds want to grab a moment alone, the regal Lady Margaret suite, which spans the manor’s first floor, is an indulgent haven.

Hunter’s Yard Hotel, Co Kilkenny

Located in the heart of the Mount Juliet Estate, Hunter’s Yard is a chic country escape with all the luxurious touches you and your guests could desire. The Stables is a premiere banquet hall that makes for a beautiful setting for a reception. The bright and beautifully styled room holds up to 170 guests.

BrookLodge Hotel, Co Wicklow

This gorgeous exclusive wedding venue is a picturesque location for your special day. At BrookLodge the focus is always on incredible quality food so you and your guests can enjoy a stunning seasonal menu before celebrating into the wee hours. The Macreddin chapel on site is perfectly intimate for your ceremony too.

County Arms Hotel, Co Offaly

The Loughnane family at the County Arms Hotel have been hosting weddings for over 50 years, so you can rely on the team to ensure you and your guests have an unforgettable day. The hotel has capacity for larger weddings of up to 400, so you will be able to share the day with all your loved ones. There is also nine acres of grounds including a 200-year-old walled garden, perfect for wedding photos.

The Summer Wedding Showcase at County Arms Hotel takes place on Friday, 24 May at 6pm.

Newbay House, Co Wexford

This idyllic country house is a private wedding venue that has a new lease of life after an intensive restoration. Set on 16 acres of Celtic-inspired gardens, the house can accommodate up to 250 guests. Civil ceremonies can take place in the charming Willow Suite, and newlyweds can retire after their day of celebrations to the opulent bridal suite.

Palmerstown House, Co Kildare

This beautiful manor dates back to 1872, and is surrounded by 900 acres of parkland. There are two venues on the site, the manor house and the golf lodge which can cater for larger parties. There are beautiful spots throughout the grounds that will work for wedding photographs, creating a wedding album to treasure.

Ballintubbert House and Gardens, Co Laois

This historic estate is a hidden gem located just an hour from Dublin. Your ceremony can take place in the elegant water garden, in the beautiful 16th century church or in a picturesque orchard. The reception can have a wonderful outdoors feel as guests wander through a rose pergola and herb garden before partying the night away and sleeping in luxurious yurts, bell tents and a tree house.

Viewmount House, Co Longford

Enjoy exclusive use of this Blue Book property and its peaceful setting. Service is a priority at this elegant Georgian house and you and your guests can enjoy a seasonally-based, locally-sourced wedding menu. The house will work for tiny celebrations as well as gatherings up to 100.

Darver Castle, Co Louth

Lovingly restored by the Carville family, this castle is a gorgeous location for a memorable day. Guests will enjoy the relaxed atmosphere, and you can have your ceremony on site too in a specially refurbished setting overlooking the courtyard.

The Village Barn, Westmeath

Have your wedding in the rustic charm of a traditional barn, surrounded by gorgeous gardens. Weddings here are wonderfully atmospheric, with spring and summer weddings taking place in the grounds, or candlelit ceremonies taking place during the darker months.
