Dress of dreams

Texture is having a 50% sale on fabrics, which may suit someone who dreams of having a bespoke wedding dress. Run by Ann Flavin and located in Monkstown, Ann is running the sale to celebrate two years in business. The shop has a range of luxury fabrics and accessories in store, and Ann designs and makes bespoke outfits. She stocks a selection of Italian fabrics, including woolls, silks, linens, French laces and designer fabrics like Ungaro, Zegna and Armani. Ann makes alternative wedding dresses and often second time round wedding dresses, creating unique pieces you won’t find in shops. If you’re after something traditional made especially for you, there are sample fabrics to choose from. Ann trained at the Grafton Academy and has 25 years experience as a dress designer. She worked with two Dublin-based designers before going out on her own. Visit texture.ie for more.
