Irish Country Magazine is a game-changer of a magazine. It speaks to women in a way that has never been done before. Here, for the first time in the Irish market, is a home-grown, exquisitely illustrated, emotionally intelligent lifestyle magazine for contemporary, thoughtful women. We’re proud to be the go-to magazine for women who expect the best.

Our editorial pillars reflect everything that the Irish woman cares about today. The latest fashion and beauty news, especially when it’s about upcoming Irish designers and home-grown brands, is equally as important to her as health and emotional wellbeing. And when it comes to food, gardening and interiors, buying Irish and local produce is what matters. Parenting, entrepreneurship, relationships and culture are also at the forefront of her life.

Everything we do is with our reader in mind and we are always striving to achieve our motto -

to Inform, Inspire and Indulge.

Meet the team:

Jennifer Stevens, Editor

Editor Jennifer has been working in magazines for longer than she cares to admit and has been obsessed with them ever since she bought her first copy of 17 in Florida age 13. She is our resident fashion queen and looks after our style pages which is very detrimental to her bank balance. Jen also plans our cover shoots and has a long list of 'Amazing Irish Women' she can't wait to meet. When she's not at work she's cooking up a storm, dancing in her living room, planning her next trip away and walking her dog Kramer on a secret beach in Dublin.

Klara Heron, Deputy Editor

Klara joined Irish Country Magazine in 2014, after returning home from a year spent writing in New York. She brings a passion for wellbeing and mindfulness to the table, as well as her love for all things beauty and Irish food. When she's not checking out the latest cosmetic launches or colouring in her adult colouring book, you'll find her enjoying some local food in her 'happy place', the west of Ireland.

Róisín Healy, Features Writer

Roisin returned to Irish Country Magazine in February 2015, having worked as an intern on the magazine in 2013. She is our resident culture vulture, with a love for books, film, music, TV and all the interesting goings on around Ireland. She ensures the magazine is full of interviews with inspiring and fascinating people, and loves nothing more than discussing people’s life stories and passions over a cup of tea.
