H&M has done some legendary designer collaborations in the past – Karl Lagerfeld, Versace and Balmain are just some of the launches that practically caused riots in H&M stores all over the world with collections selling out in minutes. And this year, we predict record levels of fashion fans to snap up the high street store’s latest collaboration with British label Erdem.
A favourite of the Duchess of Cambridge and Keira Knightley, Erdem’s signature look is pretty florals, feminine tailoring and dreamy dresses – all of which can be found in this affordable collaboration. There are lots of beautiful dresses to fall in love with, from a sleeveless floral ball gown to a black lace-sleeved dress with ruffled hems, as well as more everyday items such as floral-patterned hoodies and t-shirts that are also in H&M’s Conscious Collection. There’s also a full collection of menswear which has equally beautiful tailoring and statement pieces.
Accessories such as pocket squares and hair slides start from around €29.99, and the most expensive items are €299 - in the womenswear it’s the floor length, long sleeved lace dress, and in the menswear it’s a beautifully tailored navy coat. Overall the pieces are affordable for what you’re getting – the stunning bright floral coat is €179 and will stay in your wardrobe forever, and one of the gorgeous short lace dresses or long-sleeved blouses will set you back €129, which is what you’d pay for a statement piece in any high street store, and in this case you’re getting to add Erdem to your wardrobe.
The collection hits stores and H&M online on 2nd November, happy shopping!
