Every moment we've loved so far from the Royal Visit

We want all those dresses and to have been a fly on the wall at THAT amazing garden party! Here are some of the best bits from Harry and Meghan's first 24 hours in Ireland

We can't help ourselves — we are glued to every update about the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's royal visit to Ireland. What we know so far is that Harry and Meghan have had a chat with Leo Varadkar about the housing crisis, attended the English Ambassador's garden party, along with anybody who is anybody in Ireland (no, we didn't get an invite) and today they met with Michael D Higgins. They're set to visit the Epic Museum, the famine memorial and will take time to chat to young people involved in coding before heading back to the UK. What a jam packed day! And in case you were wondering, Harry and Meghan are accompanied by an eleven-strong entourage including her hair stylist and a personal assistant. Fascinating!

Here are our favourite moments from the visit so far:

1. The entire presidential visit

Michael D always brings a smile to our faces but seeing him and Sabina and his Bernese mountain dogs Brod and Sioda hanging out with Harry and Meghan has melted our hearts!

2. Our favourite look so far:

Meghan looked fabulous in this LBD by Emilia Wickstead for the English Ambassador’s garden party.

3. Caitriona Balfe embodying how we all feel about Harry

4. Aisling Bea being Aisling Bea and Amy Huberman looking like she is having the time of her life:

We would support this girl band and go to all their gigs.

5. First Oprah, then Kim Kardashian, and now Sinéad has rubbed shoulders with the Duchess…

Sinéad is continuing to be Ireland’s greatest ambassador of the moment!

And before you ask… she was wearing much buzzed about Irish designer Richard Malone.

6. Cassie from Xposé’s excellent dad joke:

Bet she wishes he'd cooled his jets...

7. Today’s dress:

This Roland Mouret dress is stunning.

8. The royal couple didn’t let a little fan go unnoticed:

9. Meghan told Vicky Phelan that she had been following her story closely and commended the work she has done in bringing the CervicalCheck scandal to light.

10. Izzy Wheels is all of us when she found herself in close proximity to the Duchess.

11. And the inexplicable:

We don’t know why a dozen bottles of Ballygowan were set out for Harry and Meghan’s meeting with Leo Varadkar, but it certainly drew a lot of attention online. Drought or no drought, we couldn’t have guests going thirsty now could we! No sign of the good biscuits though.

This reminds us of THAT moment during Obama’s visit… (watch from 10 seconds in)

12. Can we take a moment for the beautiful work of Appassionata?
