Conscious Exclusive is a recurring collection of premium pieces that celebrate the new season and showcase the increasing possibilities of sustainable fashion. This season, along with recycled polyester, organic cotton, organic linen, organic silk, recycled plastic, glass and silver, H&M introduces new sustainable materials such as Piñatex, a natural leather alternative made from cellulose fibers extracted from pineapple leaves, BLOOM Foam, a plant-based flexible foam using algae biomass, and Orange Fiber, a sustainable silk-like fabric made from citrus juice by-products.
The collection is inspired by the natural beauty surrounding us and nature’s importance for our well-being. The colour palette consists of lavender, sand, aqua blue, petrol blue and coral pink along with black, gold and silver.
One of the key standout pieces in the range is the statement jacket in a mix of shiny silver Piñatex, which might look familiar to Irish Country Magazine readers as it featured in the April cover shoot with Roz Purcell.
The Conscious Exclusive Collection launches on the 11 April at 8am, both instore and online at www.hm.com. We are obsessed with the pieces in the collection and if you are thinking of investing in some stunning items from the range, here is what is on our wish-list.
